Here's another great little actor that seems to have been totally overlooked by the Hollywood moguls. Look out for a stunning performance from Charlie Lucas in Franco Zeffirelli's superb "Tea With Mussolini". This movie has a cast that would faze many an adult actor, Charlie not only appeared with - but also had to act opposite such names as Cher, Joan Plowright, Jui Dench, Maggie Smith and Lily Tomlin, he also had to share major scenes with them, he carried it off with great skill and presence.

Having had the honour to meet Franco a few years back I can well imagine Charlie being very like him as a young boy. Come on Hollywood get off your bike and start using some of these great kid actors like Charlie Lucas. Charlie did a great little series of BT adverts a couple of years back and again was superb. Perhaps someone could tell us what he is up to these days and also explain to me why he isn't a mega star. He would have been a great Harry Potter!
