GARY SIMMONS

This guy appeared in one of the better CFF productions, it was titled as "Haunters of the Deep" (a typically cheesy CFF title) but it actually dealt with some quite serious matters such as the dangers of mining and the exploitation of natural resources. Shot in Cornwall "Haunters of the Deep" made the most of the stunning landscape of this part of the UK. Gary was also particularly good. His chirpy confident delivery and very passable Cornish accent made him a very appealing lead and he was excellent in his scenes with Andrew Kerr. It was a pity that the production didn't give him a greater challenge as it was like most of the CFF stuff very bland. I would have liked to have seen him in something that he could really have got his teeth into - a "Kes" etc. Does anyone know what Gary is up to now?
