Lars Soderdahl starred in what is one of my favourite children's movies of all time, the Swedish movie "The Brothers Lionheart". This film works on so many levels, as you would expect from such a world renowned author as Astrid Lindgren. It's hard to judge just how good an actor Lars is as he is dubbed in the English/American version that I have (I don't speak Swedish). But if I'm any judge of young actors this guys up with the very best. He brings just the right brand of innocence and bravery to the role of young Karl Lionheart and without his truly excellent performance this movie just wouldn't work as well. I've not heard of him making any more movies since (the Brothers Lionheart is a 1977 movie) and I think that is truly a great shame.
