I know nothing about Lorenzo Monet, other that he played the part of the 12 year old Jesus in Franco Zeffirelli's outstanding "Jesus of Nazareth". I just happen to think that Lorenzo, along with Mark Lester, has the best boy's face that I have ever seen on the screen. The only (very distant) connection that I have is that I once had a small (very small) part in a TV series with Robert Powell who played the adult Jesus for Franco Zeffirelli. I also met Franco's colleague, Dyson Lovell, when they were setting up to do "Brother Sun, Sister Moon", I didn't get the part, it went to Peter Firth.

If anyone out there knows anything about Lorenzo I'd be very grateful for the information.

Lorenzo has been kind enough to email me, he was 12 years old when he did Jesus of Nazareth and it was his only movie which is a great shame, it would have been wonderful to have seen him in some other movies. He is now 35 years old and lives in Trieste in Italy, he has a degree in economics and works in PR, he is married. Thank you Lorenzo for troubling to write to us, it makes all the hard work of running STARZ worthwhile just to get your email. You were terrific in "Jesus of Nazareth".
