Forget the tripe that so many of our TV stations (certainly here in the UK) are trying to pass off as children's entertainment. Go and see The Little Vampire immediately. Better still buy it on video as this is one movie that you will want to watch and watch. Rollo Weeks is quite brilliant as The Little Vampire and acts superbly with the outstanding Jonathan Lipnicki. There is the added bonus of one of my favourite adult actors Richard E Grant as the head of the vampire family - one terrific performance here from the star of "The Scarlet Pimpernel". This is one great movie, the kids are perfect, the staging, lighting and camerawork is faultless. The whole movie cracks along at a terrific pace and is full of the real "feel good factor". Rollo is particularly outstanding as the Little Vampire, he is never mawkish and at times comes over as downright dangerous - just don't let him near any cows! Let's see him in a load more movies. What a delight it is to watch and review such truly excellent entertainment!
