Here's a great little group from Liverpool (where else), UZLOT are the band that nearly qualified to represent the UK in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. They just came second, only losing on the very last vote. The band are fronted by 12 year old lead vocalist Steven Irwin who is packed with charisma and really knows how to sell his band. The other three girl members are Lauren Irwin (15) (Steven's big sis), Jynell Murphy (12) and Kaytie Farrell (12) and they all gave a first rate talented performance. They were already good friends before they formed a group together. The song, which they wrote together, they describe as "poppy, but with a story to it, too". Their singing idols include Will Young, Blue, Robbie Williams and Westlife. Although they've performed together in public before, they've never appeared live on television. Well done guys you did Liverpool proud and we can't say finer than that!
